Gain the ridge by following the black, water-polished rock that goes diagonally up from a small unnamed lake immediately above the waterfall (12,540 ft). There are several cairns to follow.

Great photos and route description!

This one is on my list for summer 2006 so it was nice to see some good photos and a route description. Thanks for posting!
