East side of Cathedral Rock from the Templeton Trail: The 'top-heavy' tower on the left (with a slight lean to the NW) is called The Mace. The companion towers are all "nameless" towers of the Cathedral Rock group. The "east face of The Mace" route is a North American classic, with 5 pitches in 450-feet and a "step-across" on the final perilous pitch. November 5, 2009
