Gem Glacier is on the right side of the photo. Taken Sept 1st 2007, from the notch accessed from the Highline Trail. I view pictures of Glaciers as part history and part science as I fear they will soon be gone forever.

Good picture...

incredible to see the glacier that way. It was probably covering the whole slope long ago...
