Gerlach massif - High Tatras

Gerlach massif seen from the west from rocky terrace of Snezna galeria(Snowy gallery). The main peak of the massif - Gerlach(2655) can be seen slightly back on the right in the sun, the extensive ridge on the left culminates in Zadny Gerlach(ca.2638). Gerlach(Gerlachovsky Stit) is the highest peak of Tatra mountains and the whole Carpathian range. High Tatras 17th August 2006
