Neither of these routes on Milepost should be given a recommendation (star) in Miramontes guide.  This short face has bad rock and aging fixed hardwear (2018).  Stem up a 4^th class chimney to the committing move to the main face, under clinging whilst make the first clip.  Layback up to a stance at the 2^nd clip which is an old button head bolt and rusty hanger as of 2018.  This bad fixed pro protects the crux portion of the pitch.  Make a power single leg push followed by a balancing toe ledge  with no hands to make the third clip.  Then up vertical, but positive, varnished rock to the top.  Fixed rap is climber's right.  Dow
