Glacier Lilies in Yellowstone

Glacier Lilies in Yellowstone

Glacier lilies (Erythronium grandiflorum) on the Ribbon Lake Trail south of Canyon. The glacier lily is the first wildflower to appear as the snow melts, and it doesn't last long. Find them at the edge of snowfields that have just melted. June 2009.
