Glacier Peak, Image Lake

Similar to the view of Mount Shuksan from Artist Point, the view of Glacier Peak and Image Lake from near Miners Ridge (Point 6758) has been a regionally popular photo location. This area was largely unvisited for many years due to road construction and washouts on the major access road (Suiattle River Road), and very long hiking miles just to reach this destination. The hiking miles are still long... just not as much as the previous decade prior to when this photo was taken. My hope is that photos such as this one will help inspire more people to visit this great area of the Cascades once again. Photo taken on June 13, 2015.
