Parked on the dirt road behind the WORLD FAMOUS SALOON,1/2 mile north, parking area. Took one of the many east/ west ridges to the main limestone ridge. Staying on the ridge to Windy Peak looking to the N/E Global Peak will soon come into view. It was probably a 400 ft. drop down to the sandstone. It took some time finding a route down and across to the canyon leading to the saddle south of the summit. Got cliffed out several times. We discovered a narrow crack 30 yards long and just wide enough to sliver through. This was our big break.
staying under the waterfalls and cliffs we climbed our way to the saddle. Heading north from the saddle was not straight froward but we finally found a safe area to cross to the summit.
Total time from the truck to the summit was 1 hour and 43 minutes.
Return trip was very smooth and took 1 hour and 5 minutes,Peak to vehicle.
