Motorcycle Canyon/Gold Strike Canyon
Kimberly, Kessler, Shaylee, and I did a loop of the technical Motorcycle Canyon and the non-technical Gold Strike Canyon. It took longer than expected to get to the head of Motorcycle Canyon. Once in, it was interesting, but there were long stretches of only moderately interesting sections of the canyon interspersed with short very interesting sections. Motorcycle Canyon wasn't quite as good as Keyhole Canyon which we did the day before. We did see several bighorn sheep in the canyon though.
Once we reached Gold Strike Canyon, we headed down canyon to the hot springs and took a soak. After enjoying the hot springs we headed back up canyon and to the vehicle. The exit didn't take as long as we expected, but the loop route did take longer than we thought it would.

Awesome, but
Awesome soaking and a great alternative to AZ Hot Springs. However, the amount of trash and human feces is disgusting. People, clean up after yourself! This place is soo awesome but the amount of human impact is pretty bad.
The soaking opportunities suck right now tho, and have for a year or so as many pools have dried up in part or full. The pools will eventually return tho.

half a dozen times over the yearsThis is a good canyon hike close to home. I first hiked it about twenty years ago and have done it four or five times since.
