Gone Green at 7,600'

Snowbound Woods Canyon Lake has now thawed out. At this elevation, the wildflowers have yet to appear. This is a meadow just south of the lake, which is frequented by Rocky Mountain Elk. It is seen just east of the road, as you drive to the lake. At the lake, there is a network of hiking trails that lead into the Sitgreves Nat'l Forest, atop AZ's Mogollon Plateau. I heard the fishing was great. (Taken just off of FS Road 105 atop the Mogollon Plateau on April 26, 2008)

Re: Uuuuuu..

Thank you for your kind comments!
Technology is also magical. But,
I still can't melt the snow and make
the flowers suddenly appear. Mother
Nature must complete the work. Hvala!
