Gorra Blanca summit
I were in the south icefield in late February 2011 (summer here)
While we were there we spent a few nights at the Garcia Soto shelter, a great place to be inside the ice field and for trying the Gorra Blanca.
We started climb at 7am and took us 5h 30mins to make it to the summit. It's not a hard one.
The way back is a never ending story... veeeery long walk back to the shelter. Another 5hs.
