This bizarre colored rock was found in the Bear River Range of Utah. When my wife saw the photo, she was pretty upset with me for not packing it home for the yard. When I told her how large (and heavy) it was, and the many miles I would have had to carry it, she was unmoved. Oh well, maybe I can use it as an excuse to go back to this neat area to "look" for it.
