Gran Cono di Ghiaccio (R - 3530m.) and Thurwieser (L - 3652m.)

Photo taken while approaching to the start of the Hochjochgrat to Ortles. August 2009. Thurwieser is a very nice mountain that can be climbed starting from Rifugio V Alpini - Bertarelli in Val Zebrù. The quality of the rock is not good and sometimes, especially when there is no snow, finding a safe route can be difficult. The normal route is rated AD.
