"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Untitled CommentAlthough I think the page has good information on getting to and around the mountain, I think it would benefit from quite a bit more information relating to the technical climbing to be done at Granite. Due to the length and the difficulty of the hike to the summit, the bulk of the activity here is roped rock climbing and few if any casual hikers see the summit.
Some pictures of the amazing main face there would be awesome, not to mention a lot more representative of the character of the mountain.

Untitled CommentI noticed you are from Prescott and you have done some of the climbing routes on this mountain. If you know more about it and would like to adopt it I'll gladfully put it up for adoption. I felt that this peak was an important one in AZ since its the highest in the area and that it has so many climbs on it.

Untitled CommentYep but the Book link won't work. It just times out. There is a book called Climbing Arizona that covers Granite Mountain.

Untitled CommentMark, Love what you have here, but I'm sure that we are all hungry for some more photos, more route descriptions or a link to where one could obtain a guide book, and a little bit of the climbing history of this Classic Crag. Thank you for getting the info on this Mountain page together and organized , to share with others

Re: Untitled CommentYou might want to take this page. I have not been on this mountain too many times. Do you think you can work on it?
