I hiked this trail in the afternoon from 3:45-6. The trail is in great shape. Although the upper section is steep and there is loose gravel, I only slipped twice, despite a good pace. Access between the river section and the upper slope is dense with shrubbery, but easily navigable.
Stunning views, especially watching the sunset. Steep! Everyone told me, but I thought they were week. Wrong.
