Great Falls Panorama

Great Falls Overlook Trail Just 20 miles from the Washington, D.C. October 2, 2010 A panorama view from the Great Falls Overlook Trail at its' end, the river overlook. The Potomac River was definitely flowing high, fast and furious, an amazing locomotive to watch after the rains of the week before. To see what a difference heavy rains make to Great Falls compare the picture above to the one here.

Re: Memories

We used to visit a friend's parents out near Leesburg years ago; used to be rural and horse farms. And the Virginia side of Great Falls isn't as developed if I remember correctly but it's a long time since I walked over there.

You probably wouldn't like the horrible traffic and changes if you lived in the metro area now! I try to stick to the tourist and natural stuff like Great Falls.....

Thanks for looking!
