Grey Mares Tail waterfall - Galloway Forest

The A712 road from Newton Stewart through to New Galloway is known as The Queens Way. There are many places of interest along here and there is the fine waterfall known as The Grey Mares Tail hidden in a small valley and woodlands just off the road. This Grey Mares Tail must not be confused with the much bigger waterfall of the same name in The Moffat Hills region. In fact there are many waterfalls across Scotland with the name Grey Mares Tail.
