Griffen
When driving through Kaernten/Koroška from Voelkermarkt/Velikovec towards the east your eye is suddenly catched by a stunning castle, sitting on a high rock. The town below is called Griffen, so is the castle. Another attraction is a cave below the rock, which is also arranged for tourists visit. In Gurktaler Alps such rock features are rare, but this one is on the border of limestone area. Spring, 2008.
