The spectacular view from the summit of Northern Grigna. Climbed via Piancaformia Ridge. But don't let this serene view fool you..it was a brutal scene up there....the birds were evil, they made a run at my salami sandwich!

Alpendohlen,

I see. We have never had them grab anything from us. In the Dolomites they just sit patiently waiting for you to throw them something.

Yes, it was so beautiful there...and as you know from all your travels, a picture never even comes close to capturing what it was really like.
