"aid rope"

If climbers require "aid" ropes on easy chimney
climbs they should think about additional practice climbs/training down by the spring in the woods or the practice area near the golf
course at the base of Rundle. How about some
strength and flexibility training.

Re:

Always good to hear from you old timers on SP, thanks for the visit. Yeah, I hate trash as much as the next guy. This hemp rope was no doubt left here way back in the day. The only routes I have had the opportunity to solo on Yam were Direttissima and Forbidden Corner (2nd time up both of course). I usually take the Mrs. on something historical like Grillmair (even though I know she hates chimneys!) Cheers
