Nice page. Under camping, it might be worthwhile to add where people who are not from Switzerland can stay inexpensively. For those who want to stay and do several of the area's climbs, you should describe the Bergseehütte.
I have climbed Schijenstock South Ridge and Hochschijen in this area -all the climbs in this area are great. (How about putting those pages up?)
Maybe you're confusing this summit (very near the Oberalp pass) with the Hochschijen or the Schijenstock
:)
it's a long way (on foot) from campsite in Goschenertal to Oberalpass ... not "a nice walk"
I'd say that Gross Schijen should be attached to Glarn Alps, not Uri Alps. It may be in Uri canton, but Uri Alps ar supposed to stretch only to the line: Andermatt - Goeschenen ....
ciao :)
true, and its rock is more similar to Cavardiras' one that to Salbitschijen's one
but I do not find that group ... :)
and Cyrill (R.i.P)posted the Oberalpstock in Uri Alps ...

Re: Glarn Alps, not Uri
Yes, and a lot other mountains too. Well, it will clear up sometime. Ciao!
done ... but I think that the Glarus Alps page is really UNCOMPLETE, all the Disentis region is missing, the Oberalp Pass and the Lucomagno are not even mentioned ... someone who really knows the region (that's NOT ME) should update and complete it ...
ciao :)

stayingWe were not allowed to camp near the hut. No problemo because you can walk from the campsite in goescheneralp. It just adds a nice walk to your route.
