I would call it Eiskögele

I was intrigued by this impressive picture, wondering from which side this would be a picture of the Glockner. I had been in the area twice, and had also climbed the Glockner by the Mayerlrampe.

I found out that it is simply the north wall of the Eiskögele that mostly defines this picture. It had already impressed me when I was around the Weisssee. The Glockner is there in the background, but it has little to do with the mountains in between. In fact it is another 3 kilometers behind the wall.

Anyway, a beautiful picture. Interesting to get me studying the area again.

Re: I would call it Eiskögele

Thank you!

I precised the description of the picture a little bit.
But still: for me it's the Glockner Ridge with Großglockner in the end (on the left)!
With a lot of Eiskögele in the picture ;)

Ciao, Flow.
