Re: What a beauty!

Thanks Anya! You drive right to them .. sadly. I wish it were a hike, but they are in the Grand Staircase, just off Cottonwood Road.

Grosvenor Arch

gets a lot of visitor traffic.
A good one to try is Hackberry
Canyon, just north of Yellow Rocks
and the Paria Box. Do you concur
on that, Tanya???

Re: Grosvenor Arch

I like Hackberry, but I like strolls through the water with high walls on both sides. ;)

If you go, don't miss the dino tracks!

Grosvenor Arch actually a Triple

I was out there in August of 2006. If you read the pamphlet for GSNM, it shows that Grosvenor is a triple arch. The third arch is in the upper right of your picture and is only viewable if you walk around to the right side. It is basically a semi-detached column.

Re: Grosvenor Arch actually a Triple

I have heard the triple arch thing, but I could not ever see how it could be... but I never walked around to the right! Thanks :)
