Wet, wet, so wet
Randomly met a british couple and they had ideas of climbing the peak, which I had originally no plans. So we decided to go for it. Preparation was hilarious and we had to borrow a lot of junky equipment, including of course a leaky tent. We did the long route (from the south) and took 7 days for the whole thing. Lots of leeches, lots of bees, and lots and lots of rain and humidity. We were wet the whole time and used shammies to soak up the water from the bottom of our tent. So nice to get above tree-line where the humidity was lower! The teh tehrik after the treck was amazing!
