Beautiful views, easy walk up, was well worth the extra effort after we came back from climbing Ruth Mtn across the valley.

Summit success
Started WAY late - 2pm TH start time. Got to summit in 3hrs, back to car in another 2.5. Awesome weather, a little busy on the trail near the Hannegan Pass camp, saddle, and up top (some schmuck had a tent pitched on the summit). All in all, well worth the time spent for some immaculate views of Ruth, the Nooksack Cirque and some cloudy images of Baker

Hannegan and Granite
Nice easy trail hike to the summit. It was a super hot day with TONS of bugs. Wild flowers are still in bloom. We slept on the summit along with a few other chaps. Great views and a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The next morning we continued on and summited Granite Mountain as well, which definitely sees less traffic than Hannegan Peak.

Hotter than Africa!
It was super hot that day, 100+ degrees according to our thermometer, but seeing Mount Shuksan was cool.

Hannegan And Granite
Maria and I went up Hannegan today. We made such good time that we decided to do another peak before heading down, Granite Mountain. Good company and a great outing!

Good day hike
With the cold weather this year, didn't afford us much scenic vistas, but great meadows and a nice hike up from the pass.

Nice family outing
Went with my little brother and mom. Easy walk during summer... if you bring enough water. I ran out of water in the valley and checked my thermometer on my pack -- it read 103 Degrees Farenheit. I have never been as thirsty for such a short distance.

BUGS!
Drank too much tequila the night before so I was sick in the parking lot and again at the top, but I still love the hike! Ruth Creek valley is loaded with flies.

Failed Attempt - too much avalanche debris!
I doubt this trail will be cleared this year. The massive amount of avalanche debris is very difficult to navigate, plus it was too early in the year I think, we had to put on snowshoes before we even made it to the trailhead. Here are some pics:
