In the U.S., it's still seven or more hours away...Here in Europe, it's 2013 in exactly 55 minutes. Wishing you all a "safe slide" and lots of fun celebrating! :-) This photo I took in the southern Black forest, between the two towns of Titisee and Hinterzarten, on my way back from a visit to my father.

The Black Forest ...

When's the best time to visit it?

In the U.S., they're still pointing fingers
and deliberating (going back and forth) as
to whether or not the new year actually did
arrive ...

The Black Forest is spectacular in ALL seasons, except maybe on those winter days when the snow is too slushy...
