Hawksbill Cliff Band

We eventually worked our way through this cliff band. There was a pretty big gap between the approach ledge and the holds on the cliff band, so we didn't directly climb it. With a little bushwhacking (to the right) there was a less technical approach to reach the break in the cliff. Hawksbill Mountain Linville Gorge Wilderness May 19, 2012
