Hayden Lake and Coeur d'Alene

This photo shows a portion of Hayden Lake and the north end of the city of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Mokins Bay campground is on the near shore of the lake. There are extensive lodging opportunities in the city. The mountain in the distance is Mica Peak, which is just east of the Washington border and is considered the southernmost extension of the Selkirk Mountains. October 2009
