Avy chute
Up the Avy chute east of the South Ridge route mentioned. The runout from this chute had flowed down the road to just past the toe of the south ridge, and unless they decide to plow it, it may be awhile before cars can pass.

Haystack Peak
My third time up Haystack was the best time for me. It was a cloudy and cold day this last October , but the views were spectacular. The summit had snow and it is such a fun hike up. The lighting and the fall colors were just beautiful. I spent a lot of time in Strawberry Creek this year, and Haystack was a great finish for me.
