Nice photo ....You can't beat the east side of Mount Adams
for sheer beauty and bulk! That's the Ridge of
Wonders in the center, with the Mazama Glacier
a short distance above it!
What a clear day you had! You can even see
the rocky outcrop known as The Castle! WOW!!

Re: Nice photo ....wow it sounds like you know the area well, this was my first time from Bird Creek Meadows, and I've only hiked the south side a couple of times. I need to remedy that next year as it's so close to where I live.

a field (Geology) course at GRCC in Auburn.
I have only explored the east side of Adams -
in pictures and diagrams. Looks like fun !!
