Hemp Agrimony

Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium cannabium ) is a tall-growing perennial herb from the family Asteraceae. It can be found on the edges of wet forests and by mountain streams. It blooms from July to September and its flowers attract lots of insects. Other English names of the plant include: St. John's Herb and Holy Rope. In Polish is is known as Sadziec konopiasty. There are about 60 species of Hemp Agrimony, but only one of them can be found in Poland. Hemp Agrimony has been used in homeopathic medicine. The Low Beskid - Slope of Mount Kopiec - August 2007.

Most brillant!

I wonder if St. John's Herb is closely related to St. John's Wart??? My Grandmother grew them in her garden in Washington state. They truly love water!
