i've done the east rim trail a couple of times and hiked right past this short spur and missed out on a pretty little hanging canyon. want to go back in the fall when the maples leaves are red and head even further up the canyon over the dryfalls (we probably didn't go more than 1/2 mi past the official end of the trail up into the canyon)

Almost went swimming
They were some large pools of water that had to be navigated around in this canyon. Dustiano and I both almost took a swim in one of the larger ones.

Hidden Canyon
This is a great narrow canyon. It doesn't contain as much water as other canyons in Zion so it is dry for much of the year. There are numerous 5th class obstacles with fun scrambling higher in the canyon. I hope to do the top to bottom route in the future.

Back againFirst trip back to Zion in more than 10 years. This little gem is fun scrambling with a meager 1 mile, 850 foot vertical approach.
