With Twin Peaks, West; Twin Peaks, East; Provo Peak & Mount Baldy.
Didn't ride the tram. Rode Mineral Basin lift up then "hiked" to the top. Great day of skiing!
Blew up my ankle on Lone Peak last week and can't run, so decided to hike baby Journey up to 11,000 feet for the first time in her life while cheering on SpeedGoat runners for my birthday. Great day.
Took the tram up, ascended Mount Baldy, then followed the ridge to the east of Hidden back to the summit. Nice little peak, even if it is more resort than 10er mountain, and a great access point for all of the high peaks in the vicinity. Would recommend if doing a nearby peak!
Hiked up the Peruvian Gulch trail to the Ridge Trail. Lots of construction at the top.
Beautiful hike up below the cirque.
Summit had some construction going on. Kind of ugly with all that stuff on top.
part of the snowbird adventure race, climbed to the summit 3 times- once on foot from bottom, once from Mineral Basin , and again from bottom via mtn bike.
Good memory of my first time riding in Utah, and the snow did not disappoint!
Alta to Baldy to Hidden to AF Twins
I rode the tram up with my wife and 2 daughters. I then hiked over to the summit of Mt. Baldy and then back up Hidden Peak for the tram ride down.
Snowbird, please do not defile AF Twins with the tram madness. So ugly.
Bullion divide: Trip report
I took the tram to the top of Hidden Peak to ski down. Not even sad about it. It's fine to bag a summit on a lift, it's totally fine! I'm sure I'll run along this ridge one day in summer and not take the tram. Awesome skiing from it down though!
Yeah, we took the tram but it was quite an adventure for my 20 month old daughter...and it was better than sitting at home all day. This was her first peak with Daddy!
Earns its name. From American Fork Peaks it can disappear completely in a cloud. Only been there via tram. Take less physically abled friends up to experience an alpine view.
Made the summit as part of the Bullion Divide (Baldy to Red Baldy) 5 peaks in less than six hours from trailhead to trailhead.
Have gone up to Hidden Peak three times since August 2011 always starting from Cecret Lake.
Proposed to my wife up here last fall. Excellent peak to pack champagne, glasses, and camera gear up too! Thanks to the tram we should be able to re visit this 11,000 foot summit when we are 100 years old and in wheel chairs! Ha ha! Couldn't have picked a better place, thanks mother nature and snowbird.
Hit the hidden peak on the way to the American Fork twins!
