Highpoint Massif of Upper Angara Range, Transbaikalia

Headwaters of Left Fork Asikta River. March 1986. The highest peak of the range, 2641m, is officially called Bezymyanny i.e. No-Name Peak. Along with its sister 2600m+ peaks, it straddles the divide between Asikta and Koldas rivers. We only got to the base of these peaks during our 1986 recoinnsance ski expedition. To my knowldge, it has not been climbed in winter until twelve years later.
