Himalayan Hood

Hood from the north near White Salmon, WA on 1/21/08. High winds and the trails of snow in the wind give it a Himalayan look. Temps with the wind chill were reported on the radio to be -30 this day. They even closed the ski lifts due to the winds.

Thanks for the nice words. Yes, we've had a colder than usual bit of weather here lately. Reminds me of the real winters I had in Chicago growing up.
