Approach

The climb is basically inside the city of Saint Paul, MN Drive south on 35E coming from north of Saint Paul, make a right on Shepard's Road and drive to Homer Street. PArk the car and cross the road to a wooded area directly from Homer Street.

Route Description

The ice forms due to a storm water outfall. It is not visible from the road and it is located in a ravine. Once you cross Shepard Road, on foot, you will find a wooded area, walk approximately 40 feet and you will see the ravine and the route. Rapelling down is the common way to start this route, however there are walk paths to the right and left of the route.

Essential Gear

Anchors for top roping the route, long cordettes and webbing, locking carabiners. Ice rack.
