I like how the truncation accentuates the 2100 feet of gain I did from Lower Saddle to summit when I climbed it in 2006. That day wasn't easy; I was sick as hell. I would have cancelled the trip if I didn't live 750 miles away -- and if I hadn't waited all my 39 years of life to climb it.
