Hood's shadow captivates

a couple climbers (as well as myself) The only other shadow I've seen like this is on Mt. Shasta. This is near Illumination Rock. 5-23-03 Click for bigger resolution

Right place .. Right time!

WOW -What a shot of Hood's shadow. I remember looking at Mt. Hood from the summit of Adams in WA - what a massive mountain! Could even see Mt. Jefferson on that day. THAT SHADOW MUST EXTEND ALL THE WAY INTO Washington!!!(I wonder if Dennis has climbed Hood, yet? Have you seen his NEW User Image???)
