VELAN 's HORNS CREST COULOIRS & PILLAR

From left or West (starting Faceballa 's Saddle 2880 meters) the more high sector of Southeastern Wall:
the "Approach Variant" towards Southwest Crest 1970 (not traced), Southwestern Ridge 1997 (not traced), icy "Diagonal Via" 1976 (in azur color ), snowy South-southeast Great Couloir 1890 (in red), snowy various Meridional small variants from & to Minihorn and (right) Brokenhorn 1997 (in springgren for the descent and in pink in ascent), Southern Pillar or "Hourglass Pillar" under the Western Horn (3620m) 1997 (not tracked), icy "Narrow Couloir" between Western and Central Horns 1997 (in yellow)
. Beyond the yellow line: always to the right or East on Italian/Swiss border, from Quota 3650 meters up to the Col de Valsorey (3107m) the large sector of Southeastern Face (more facing East-southeast) below Eastern Horn (3618m), Eastern most large Brèche and five Velan 's Teeth (3595 meters, the highest).

In background always from left or West: Hannibal 's Pass (2992m) with the homonym Western Crest to Quota 3678 meters with its Southwest Face.
