Ahhh, YesI remember this well. Great hike. We did a 12,100+ ft un-named peak just west of the hanging dry valley on Mt. Tom off this trail.

Mt. TomMy humble recommendation: Both ascend AND descend the southwest ridge! Don't come down the class two chutes; it was awful--talus the size of Volkswagen bugs; and it moved! I shredded my rain pants sliding down most of the 1600 feet! When I got to the Tungstar Mine, I kissed the ground!
