Thanks KristinaAL. I tried to cover things that everyone should have or do when hiking. And I had read about bear bells too so I'm glad you brought that up! I think they were very popular a few years ago. I'd like to get back someday too!

True for many

I think a lot of hikers get into trouble on that trail. Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake, and the Highline Trail are probably the most used trails in the park, and as such, people not used to altitude and alpine travel will struggle. The lessons here are good ones.

Thanks Andrew....Those are busy trails sometimes used by inexperienced hikers. It's good to hear that others get my message!
