West Ridge
Hiked with Valerie. Short, easy hike. No reason for any winter gear - except layers. The wind whipped up near the summit ridge and made it feel brutally cold for a few minutes.

Post Burn
From South Rock Creek ascended through "Ox Cart" burn area to 12042 and from there to the summit. Summiting delayed due to weather, but ultimately achieved.
Hayden Pass to N Decker Creek ridge run with Brian and Steve, collected 3 ranked 13ers, 6 ranked and 1 unranked 12ers. Lots of vertical, but "only" 15 miles, pretty efficient ridge!

Part of a 10 peak traverse from Hayden Pass to the North Decker Creek TH. Climbed with chicagotransplant & Steve Knapp.

Parked at base of west ridge and made nice ridge run to Hunts, Red, 12924, and Twin Sisters North with a car shuttle.

West Ridge
One of the shorter 13er hikes in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Being the northermost 13er in the range, access from the front range is pretty good. Makes a great off-season hike.

yankee creek drainage
climbed the yankee creek drainage with jamie and steve. nice day with a little wind on the summit. got back to the "trailhead" roughly 45 minutes after sunset.
