The killer Bora!We've talked about this before, but I'm amazed every time I get reminded of this absolutely crazy wind.
I have never, ever encountered anything like it.
Not on the high mountains, not on the oceans.

Re: The killer Bora!I live with it Janne and I'm amazed every time too! I approached this location with a car that has 1.5 tones and it felt like I was riding the raging bull, not driving huge and heavy car! To tell you the truth I was even little bit worried because I was not 100% confident that car will resist being swept away from the road and end up like several trucks that day, which landed on their sides by the roads below Velebit! But desire to see it is always stronger than worry :-) If it was just little bit stronger there would be no chance. Yeah, insane is the right word for one of the strongest winds on the planet and strongest in any populated and civilized area.
