I call this my Picasso-Wolfe-Rembrandt shot. I waited for hours for just the right interplay of light, marmot bonhomie, and spiritual climax. Okay, so I lie. But I did have to creep up to within five feet of the critter without startling him. I also had to practically lay on the ground. Eldorado Peak is at left. July 29, 2000.
