Re: It's not Nanga Parbat RupalfaceSeyfferth, I have not been personally to Rupal Valley, This picture is taken by my guide while trekking from Rupal to Diamir via Mazeno Pass. I think it is Rupal face but not sure now as you pointed out. Can you please give more details why you think so.

Re: not Nanga Parbat RupalfaceThese are actually the peaks across the valley from the Rupal Face, on the south side, and are known as 'the Rupal peaks'. So this photos is the north face of the Rupal peaks.

Re: not Nanga Parbat RupalfaceAgreed. Not sure what peaks these are specifically but they are definately north faces judging by the snow line so probably on the south side of the Rupal valley. I'd be surprised if they were over 6000m. I've not seen the peaks futher up the valley beyond Rupal Peak (the sp page I've already put up) except Laila (5971m) which this isn't.
