And I chanced to meet him one night wandering ..."
View of Cibola Mitten and the west side of Wilson Mountain from the
beginning of the Jordon Trail near the Devil's Kitchen sinkhole.
Twisted juniper trees cast shadows on the colorful landscape, while mortals
watch in wonder as evening light illuminates oxidized formations lost in
(both) time and space.
Continuing eastward on the Jordon Trail will take you up and over Cibola Pass, and then down into the magical green kingdom of Mormon Canyon.
Yes, this is the place where the wizard has cast a spell, and the shadows
can be seen running away from themselves.
