Inside a deep crevasse

When exploring crevasses and ice caves, be sure to have a pulley system with anchors at the ready in case you get stuck: It's all the adventure of vertical caving, but with technical ice climbing skills neccesary. We went down one at a time and explored multiple caverns. We left three team members on top as a safety back up. The most fun was some grade four (New England ice rating,) climbing to get back out!
