I saw that you created this as a Mountain/Rock. However, a course is no mountain or rock. Depending a bit on the text that you are going to write here, suitable object types would be Trip Report, Album, Article or Custom Object.
For example, if there are only going to be images, an Album is the best. If you're going to write about what happened during the course, a Trip Report would be a logical choice.
An Article is when you have any subject to write about that's suitable for Summitpost that doesn't fit very well in any of the other categories. An article describing how to learn ice climbing would be a good example, even if you can can only really learn that properly by doing it - man, do I wish I had some nice ice nearby!
Back to the object type of Article: my own personal opinion is that it should focus on one subject only. However, there is no rule that says it should. The official description for an Article object is "How-To's, Informational pieces, and News." That covers a whole lot. If you browse a few of the better Articles out here, you'll see what I mean.
Finally, a Custom Object can be used for just about anything that's allowed on SP.

I agree with the first comment. I converted the page into a custom object until you have a chance to work on it more. Once you are finished it can be converted into the right object (album, trip report, etc.).
