It's...

strange to see such an iced water fall without snow on the slopes around, but I think that it's a view that is becoming normal for the winter in the Alps.
What is the elevation at the start of this climb?

The elevation of the village Längenfeld is about 1200 meters, not very high but it seems that in future the lower areas will not offer any good ice routes in winter anymore.

The ice has been ok in the middle of the waterfall, on both sides it was hollow, very thin and crisp.
The upper part of that pitch has melted and water flowed under the ice.
