Re: Brrrrrrrrrr ...You are so right! And, the locals consider that normal. One day it was pouring rain with ice pellets with the wind howling and I asked a lady in a shop if the weather was to remain bad for the rest of the day..she looked confused and said..what bad weather?

Ah, but the localsseemed to spend their free time strolling from one liquor-shots counter to another, and lighting up in between :) I would call them bars but they were really more like counters in grocery stores and delis, where the booze is sold by the shot. That stuff might keep 'em warm, sure.
I need to return as a tourist at some point, thanks for reminding me :) Business trip is all nice but it skips the backcountry!
